"i’ve been using octobrowser for a few months..."
i’ve been using octobrowser for a few months now, and managing the subscription has been straightforward. i was able to change my plan on my own without having to contact support, and the renewal details were easy enough to understand. i do wish they gave a little more notice before charging, but it’s possible i just missed it. overall, no major issues. the cancel and payment settings are easy to find, so it’s 4 stars from me.

"Cloud sync is decent, but could be smoother"
I’d say the cloud sync works fine most of the time, but every now and then my profiles take a while to show up on my other laptop. It’s not a huge problem, but you do start to notice it when you’re expecting everything to update right away. Overall it’s okay, just wish it was a little more consistent
"Save your time, the translations are awful"
I’d save your time with this one. So many of the menus feel like they were just run through a bad auto-translator, and when I contacted support, their replies barely made sense in my language. It made the whole experience way more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Extensions kept giving me trouble"
Octobrowser was okay overall, but a few of the Chrome extensions I use every day just wouldn’t work right. Some wouldn’t load, others kept breaking, and I ended up reinstalling them a couple times with no real fix. I wasn’t worried about updates or anything like that, it just felt annoying to be charged for a tool that made my daily workflow harder.

"Account security feels a bit weak 😕"
I used Octo Browser for a while, the account security didn’t really give me much confidence. The login checks felt basic, and I wish there was clearer info about active sessions, alerts, and anything suspicious. Nothing bad actually happened, thankfully, but for a paid tool I expected it to feel more secure. 2 stars from me.

"Octobrowser was fine when I was using it..."
Octobrowser was fine when I was using it on my own, but once we tried bringing the team into it, things got a bit messy. Maybe we didn’t set everything up perfectly, but sharing profiles and figuring out who had access to what wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be. A couple of people got confused, and it wasn’t always obvious what had changed or who changed it. Support did get back to us, though it took a little longer than I’d hoped. It’s not unusable, but for daily team work, it felt more frustrating than it needed to be

"Bad First Impression Because of the Price"
It works okay overall, but my first impression wasn’t great. The monthly price feels way too high for what you get, and that kind of put me off right away...

"Bulk operations feel a bit unreliable"
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or just hitting some weird limits, but a lot of my bulk tasks ended up failing. It’s been kind of frustrating because I expected them to be more dependable.

"Getting the API set up was more frustrating than I expected"
I was trying to get the API set up one afternoon between meetings, and it ended up being more of a hassle than I thought it would be. The automation felt kind of buggy in a few spots, and the API docs left me more confused than confident. I’ve worked through plenty of setup guides before, so I’m not totally new to this, but this one had me going back and forth way more than I wanted

"Import/export tools were a headache"
I was in a hurry trying to get some profiles moved over, and the import/export tools made the whole thing way more stressful than it needed to be. The CSV import kept failing without really telling me why, and when I tested the exported profiles, they didn’t import back in correctly. I ended up having to fix a bunch of things manually, which was frustrating. The support docs didn’t really clear anything up either. For what this costs, I expected a basic import/export feature to just work...

"Payment options are okay, but could be better"
Octobrowser itself has been working fine for me, so I don’t really have any major complaints there. The only thing is the payment options feel a bit limited at times, which is kind of ridiculous for a service like this. I was still able to pay, so it wasn’t a huge problem.
I just wish they had more flexible choices, like local payment methods or an easier monthly billing setup. Overall it’s not bad, but when it comes to payments, it feels average.

"octobrowser has been okay for me overall, but..."
octobrowser has been okay for me overall, but the update schedule feels uneven. Sometimes issues get fixed quickly, and other times it feels like you're just waiting around with no real acknowledgment. I’ve brought up concerns before and felt a bit dismissed, like it wasn’t a priority. It’s not a bad tool, I just wish the updates were more steady and communication was better.

"Restoring my backup was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I tried to restore my backup and somehow ended up completely stuck. Maybe I missed a step, sure, but it didn’t feel like the process was very clear either. I reached out to support, they didn’t really do much to help, which just made the whole thing more of a headache.

"Works Fine After Setup"
A friend recommended this to me, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, it works fine once everything is up and running, but the setup was a little confusing at first. Not a huge deal, but it could definitely be made easier.
"pretty decent, but could be smoother"
i’ve been using octobrowser for daily stuff, and overall it’s been okay. performance is usually fine, but i’ve had a few random freezes here and there, and sometimes the profiles take longer to load than i’d like. it’s not bad by any means, just doesn’t feel as stable as i expected. for the price, i was hoping it would run a bit smoother.

"I was happy with how the setup went..."
I was happy with how the setup went. The docs and tutorials made it fairly easy to get Octo Browser up and running without too much trouble. A couple of parts took me a little while to figure out, but once I got past that, everything worked well for me. Overall, I’m satisfied with the experience

"I tried getting this to work on..."
I tried getting this to work on my Linux laptop and it was way more trouble than it should’ve been. I ended up having to borrow a Windows PC just to test it, which was frustrating. Support gave me the usual canned apologies, but that didn’t really help me get anywhere. Maybe it works fine for other setups, but for mine it was just annoying and not worth the hassle

"Support just wasn’t helpful"
I had a frustrating time with OctoBrowser support. I asked what I thought was a simple question and then just sat there waiting way longer than I expected for a reply.
When they finally got back to me, it felt like they hadn’t really read my message, like, I had to explain it again, and even then there still wasn’t a clear fix. For something I’m paying for, I expected way better help.

"Works alright, privacy details could be clearer"
I tried Octo Browser for a little while and overall it did what I needed, I just wasn’t totally sure about some of the data privacy stuff. The policy is available, but it felt a bit hard to follow in spots. It’s not a bad tool, I just wish that part was explained more clearly
"Proxy setup gave me more trouble than it was worth"
I tried setting up OctoBrowser with my proxies, the whole process just wore me down. What I kept noticing was that some profiles would work fine, while others failed even though the settings looked the same. I probably focused way too much on rechecking the proxy details because that seemed like the obvious issue, but they were working elsewhere. The error messages didn’t really point me anywhere useful, and support didn’t clear things up much either. In the end, it just felt like too much time spent troubleshooting for something that should’ve been smoother.
